Dude, we don't like the students. It's that simple. Stop acting like you own the place and killing things and maybe attitudes will slowly begin to change. Maybe.

Oh the poor cyclists got honked at. Get over it! The sympathy these guys are getting is sad. They probably provoked the guy before they started filming.

In Boulder, we recognize mental illness when we see it. We are educated. Not a bunch of redneck hillbillies. In Boulder, we are all about healing, and loving, and helping. Here in Boulder, we eat shrooms.. and smoke weed... and drink fine wine... in fancy restaurants...
We are a liberal town. New-comers try to change it, yet Boulder keeps it's cool.

No amount of money will persuade us to ignore the Council's discrepancies. No amount of LA influence will force us to abandon our principles. No Toby Keith transplant will ever shame us into supporting any war. This is a liberal town. We don't wield our bigotry like some huge tusk; we gently explain things like mental illness happens, bro. Yeah, Seth lost it. So crucify him!
That's what y'all sound like. A huge mob with torches.
Boulder used to support our rabble rousers...
Sorry Seth.

Goodbye to Old Boulder,
God Bless New Boulder.

Ring any bells? http://www.news.com.au/world/missing-dna-evidence...

It's pretty sad that u got so many 'likes' for that cruel comment. I hope you don't actualize your plan! I like living in America where we don't 'tranq' our citizens, but thank you for the suggestion ;p

Those guys down by the river didn't uncover City Council corruption, thus they are not newsworthy. I agree with you though, we should try to help people who are mentally ill or down-trodden. I don't hate the homeless or people who are mentally ill. I try to love them in accordance with Jesus Christ's teachings. I truly wish those guys down by the creek could get some media attention. Maybe they have a unique perspective on what is happening in America across the board: unemployment and $7/hr jobs. Hard to gain any dignity at $7/ hr, no disrespect (JUST TOTAL REALISM)
You're a good man for pointing out the irony about the exorbitant attention Seth gets vs these poor homeless guys by the creek. I would like to see a 3 part series on the homeless in Boulder. Might provide some perspective and maybe a bit of compassion from us who get to LIVE INSIDE!!!!

"think about what you are trying to do and how you are going about it."

Mmmm.... well said. Good advice for us all.
Maybe if we truly lived that way we wouldn't be ABOUT TO ENTER WWIII ANY FREAKING DAY NOW!!!!
Maybe gas wouldn't be $4/gal, and maybe people wouldn't kill other people for their gold chains...

Oh, it's fun living in a fantasy world.

Are you kidding, or just a shill for the City or the police? I know that's kind of heavy, but frankly I just don't buy your comment.

As you said, "Maybe Seth is dangerous". Maybe.
But "Maybe" we're all dangerous. "Maybe" anyone of us could have a break with reality, or a 'nervous breakdown' at any moment... why turn our backs on people we love when they are suffering from a complete mental breakdown? If something like that happens to me I want the thorazine and straps. I don't want to wake up until I'm sane.
In closing, he needed help because he was sick and nobody in his network (friends, family) stepped up and had him committed to a hospital (including myself). He went into a specific mental condition and nobody went to him, grabbed him by the arm and said, "Let's go. It's time."
(a few of us told him he was sick and needed help, but nobody made a big enough impact I guess. sad)
