What exactly did she get wrong? You cannot legitimately compare a single data point to an average. And I am curious as to what value is derived from comparing a single data point to another data point.

This is so amateurish as to be laughable. Why exactly should anybody trust these bozos when they clearly have no idea what they're doing?

The problem of course is that the bulk of emissions over the next few decades will come from developing countries. Good luck getting them to cut emissions. In light of that this little bit of political theater looks more than a little ridiculous.

Global leaders,'like the ones in China and India who are set on ignoring the problem?

The question is why we should care about the Pope's views on global warming versus abortion? Selective bias?

Last I checked the Pope opposed abortion and birth control. Now we're supposed to kowtow before him on climate change?

Isn't he pope opposed to abortion and birth control? Isn't this the same church that covered up child abuse for decades?

But now all f a sudden we're just supposed to ignore all that, eh?

Sigh.

You have to be completely scientifically illiterate to believe that the number of scientists who believe in something is in any way an argument in support of that something. Any amateur student of science history can point out numerous examples where the majority of scientists turned out to be wrong.

Clearly some people though are not even amateur students of science.

But you're not getting hose passes. You're getting zip, nada in return.

As for me, I wouldn't ride the bus even with free passes. The bus sucks. And compared to the convenience of a car it really sucks.

I'm outraged by your smarminess and smug self satisfaction, the hallmarks of mediocrity.

And what's the problem? Can't handle the fact that your ability to burn $50 a year comes off as arrogant when compared to the plight of people who cannot?
