Facts please? Because I can list facts to the contrary:
- Gingrich, Romney, and Obama supported mandatory healthcare
- Gingrich, Romney and Obama supported bailouts
- Gingrich, Romney and Obama support extending undeclared foreign wars

...I would list more but I must get back to work - someone has to pay for the bailouts and endless wars! :)

According to wikipedia, Switzerland *IS* isolationist. Now we know why all things coming from wikipedia should be taken with a few grains of salt. :)

OK let me try to explain the difference from my PoV. Definition of isolationism (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/isolationism) is "the policy or doctrine directed toward the isolation of a country from the affairs of other nations by a deliberate abstention from political, military, and economic agreements. — isolationist, n.". Interventionism is (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/interventionism) "the doctrine supporting intervention, especially in international affairs and the politics of other countries. — interventionist, n., adj.". Ron Paul is self claimed to not be an isolationism, and to not be an interventionist. He has time and time again advocated for free trade with other nations - this is a nonisolationist position. He also has time and time again advocated for ending the long standing practice of intervening in the affairs of nations outside of the US - this is a noninterventionist position.

And yes, just because we may (or may not I'm not sure) disagree doesn't make one or the other ignorant necessarily, though in many cases this is certainly sufficient. :)

If these polls *never* count, are oh so flawed, etc etc, and are to be ignored, why are they continually paraded out into the public spotlight by the media and on sites like this one? Or is this only the case when Ron Paul's the front runner? I think the latter is the case unfortunately.

I say, what the Federal courts decide is irrelevant. Make it illegal to mandate healthcare, and make it a crime to try to enforce such mandate. I.e if IRS agents come to SWAT you for not paying up for mandatory healthcare they're charged by the state with the crime of attempted kidnapping, assault w/ a deadly weapon, etc and throw their arses are in jail!

Not saying the camps are out there, but you can't say FEMA camps haven't been discussed. :)

Well put! This is why we need to declare war - so when things get bloody the troops know they have the full support of the people and they force the enemy to raise the white flag or kill everyone in sight. Too bad these wars weren't declared. :(

"The Left is making a concerted effort to gut missile defense..., slash military procurement and modernization programs, and ...withdrawal from Afghanistan"

Wait wait. This is stuff I WANT TO SEE HAPPEN and I'M ON THE RIGHT! One way or another, we'll slash military spending and pull out of these undeclared, thus unconstitutional, wars. Either we'll do it before we go broke, or we'll WHEN we go broke. Either way, we'll stop empire building.

Funny how you call folks "conspiracy theorists" when folks on the left would call you the same. Might as well call him/her "racist" - you're just throwing out that term to shut down discussion. Civilized discourse is the only way to get to the bottom of what happened here. Personally I find the report of this "invasion" plausible but that doesn't mean it happened.

Anyone have an address of where this supposedly happened at?
