I think each room is just gorgeous. I love the rich colors implemented in each room. I love the coziness of this house yet very roomy. My favorite is still the tower. I want it for my studio so bad. I think they picked a perfect spot for this home. I am not a New Englander but could be very easily. And to be able to just walk out your front door to a walking park would be so wonderful, I could see me loosing a lot of weight walking around in that fabulous setting. The thought that went into the design of the kids beds was pure genius. I love the high ceilings. The out door kitchen again pure genius. Every inch of this home and it's surroundings are like a bit of heaven and the winner will have a chance of a life time and I wish everyone who enters Much Luck!!!!

Yes I agree concrete blocks are a good way to build. But my thought on a cob as well as being as green as you can go it is also so inexpensive as most of your materials can be gotten for free and probably found on your land. And you can shape the house anyway you want much more easily than any other material. Shape and mold shelves,benches etc. As you go. You can even have a living roof on them. I just thought they were so neat,green an inexpensive.

I've cleaned many homes with central vac I personally hate them.

Has anyone ever heard of the Cob House? They are awesome and so inexpensive to build very durable stable structured and

Has HGTV ever built a Green Home in Cob?
If not since it is by far the best way to go green would they consider building the next green home Cob style?
What does everyone else think? Would you guys like to go really green and see the green homes being Cob Built?
I sure would they are awesome.
If you have never heard of a Cob House you can google and get much info and PICS. You can go for a tiny one room or a full two story the possibilities are endless. Can you imagine what a Cob Home would be like if the HGTV green team put there magic to it? I can, AWESOME! I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Cob would be the greenest way to go.

I love cleaning too and everything I use is green, I was a self employed house keeper for 16 years but I retired when we adopted a micro preemie born at 25 weeks because I needed to be the one taking care of him. That was 11 years ago now my body says nope clean your own can't handle going back to cleaning houses my back just won't let me. But your right green cleaning would probably be more appreciated in an area like that. Here most of the ppl I cleaned for didn't care if my products were green but I sure do. Good Luck.
