Things of apparent design: Snowflakes, glacial erratic rocks, rainbows, planetary rings, galaxies, solar systems, stalactites & stalagmites, geological strata...and all life.
All have powerful explanatory models for their existence.
The argument from design has been debunked countless times...and yet they still wheel it out. Give it a rest.

This is similar to the LSESU when they tried to censor 'blasphemous' t-shirts because they offended Muslims.
To Sinn Fein, I echo the words of Stephen Fry; "You're offended. So f******g what?".

It could have been any mural. Tying in the hoopla over Adams is just click bait.

Thus, application of the scientific method, not to all theology, but to truth claims, is highly successful.

Have you ever tried asking, or more importantly, listening?

My term for unionists that cherry-pick UK laws is "buffet Britons".
I'll see if I can come up with an equivalent for the shinners.

"On an evolutionary account how do you explain the origins of moral duties?"
What's a moral duty? We all buy into an informal social contact, giving up some liberties to enjoy the greater benefits of living in a society. The reason we do is because it's beneficial to us, as well as society. the two are linked.
"Evolution doesn't and can't explain our obligation to be good moral agents." - it does - we've been trying to explain it to you in the OP and comments. It appears to be passing straight through.
"Anything is permissible." - You're not paying attention to a damn thing I'm saying. Our society does NOT permit 'anything'.
"You seem to imply that there is no objective standard of morality in which case we are left with a sphere of moral relativism, which, when followed, leads to nihilism. Anything is permissible. "
So without a celestial policeman, you would immediately run out and murder, steal and rape because you think you could get away with it? If so, then you are, indeed, a psychopath.
