Even if Congress knew about th contracts, there are still bankruptsy laws that protect creditors, I believe thet arethere bankruptcy laws that decide who will be paid first, and who may not be protected, such as employees with huge payout contracts.

winecup, no, it would not be like the homeowner insisting anything except that the toilet that was installed crumbled to pieces, thereforse the plumer did not produce what the contract called for, your arguement that the plumber should have refused the job? is not applicable.

ForgottenGuy, what kind of evidence do you think I would have besides the fact that these people who took all that bonus money from taxpayers failed to produce the desired results, taking money for poor service? Not in my book, would you want to pay a plumber who installs a toilet that crumbles to pieces and insists on a big bonus plus payment, I don't think so, you would sure as heck be calling that plumber a crook.
