considering the real estate industry basically created this ENTIRE recession by unregulated home price escalation... yeah, they, we, need some help.

thanks realators... you're all as crooked as those from Wallstreet.

If the city wants camera's, they can pay for them themselves.
If the bar wants camera's (& i hope they do), not only should they, but they should be required by law to have them ...just like sprinklers.

That goes for any business. Trust me, you don't have to pay $30,000 to set up camera's. They cost like $5-20 ea, & can transmit video via wi-fi to a more secure location. Camera's run on 2 batteries, in which i use "rechargable" batteries & change them once a month --to be safe. I have several for my home. Didn't cost me $30,000. rediculous! In addition, i added several fake camera's around my home at a cost of $3 ea. Call it overkill, but it has worked.

Yeah, you get the idea, my home looks like Fort Knox. When Everett police officers came to my door (to complain that my computer was too loud), they were more freaked out by the camera's watching them (red lights flashed on the fake cameras), than they were about the "complaint" they were on. Of course the camera they focused on was "fake" & cost me $3 off Ebay. Little did they know the real camera was recording everything.. i even told them that & they were just like freaked out & vacated, calling me... "paranoid", a "freaK" & that i needed some medical help if i was that paranoid.

Maybe i do, but... there is BIG money to be made in security systems. It doesn't mean you have to fall prey to it, its really rather cheap if you only learn to do it yourself. Fact is... no one enters my yard except the mailman. My home has a reputation as "fort knox" & i like that. costs me nothing ----except a few cheap e-bay fake cameras.

Why on Earth do people cash these checks? OUT of their own GREED, obviously.

I don't get it. Why even bother sending them the check? I mean, it's no good. How does the scammer benefit from you cashing this bogus check? ---please explain that to me. Cuz i don't get it.

Also... what kind of bank allows people to withdraw money from any kind of check which hasn't been verified? That's BS & negligent on the banks part. My bank (BOA) will not allow me to withdraw any more than $100 from a check until it is verified ...that takes 1-7 business days. I'm cool with that.

The entire backbone of this case relies upon the officers who told the truth.

I really feel for those officers. If it wasn't for them, this case would of been buried. They are the "good cops", honest cops, who can recognize right from wrong, & will testify to that despite repercussion from their brothers & the community.

THAT is the kind of cop i want hired by my city. It's time to phase out the bad one's. I know it's a tough job, that's why you make good pay. If you can't handle it, please, don't take it out on the public. Just quit.

Everett (& sno-co) has had its fair share of police shooting innocent people, & many more of just plain harassment. It's time to put an end to this kind of policing tactic. Let this be a start.

not really, many people who are alcoholic or even heroin addicts can perform daily functions just fine. But of course, there will always be the day when their world comes crashing down. Don't blame the establishment for a guy who appeared sober at first then suddenly didn't. They did the right thing, they kicked him out. I highly doubt they served him 25 drinks, yet he was just as drunk as that. Not their fault.

After that, most people get help. This guy was not given a chance, for the lamest of reasons.

You have plenty of room. Just like the Strip, businesses are served all the time. The width from the waterfront to the eastern edge of the viaduct is at least 12 lanes wide (if not more), i only proposed using 8 of those. I like Pony's idea of a depressed causeway.

Simply said, i was simply thinking of cost savings & an alternative for a chunnel. As a state taxpayer, i don't want to be stuck for any tax increases IF this turns into another big dig. Seattle can cough that up with increased car tabs.

i don't believe this judge. He's a fat pig, so no doubt, he needs to pay for sex.
Sure he could of found other fat people, but nooooo.... he wanted chicken. And the only way he could get it was to pay for it & intimidate those who engaged.

Totally selfish.

Hint: if you're fat... THIS is your future. if you expect skinny & younger people to like you, cough up the dough, dough. Otherwise, lose some frikin weight so that you can save face, dignity, you're frikin job, if not your life. FAT KILLS in so many ways... this Judge is just one example.

oh come on. YUK is a little extreme don't you think.

Unless, of course, you describe what "yuk" means.
