A teacher was INSANELY rude to our health insurance guy yesterday (last night really because the email thread started at 7:30pm) and she came up to me earlier and said "heh, that guy huh." And I had to tell her that I was on her side because he is reasonable and responsive. Now she's big mad.

I know that I am old because this morning I called the parish (county for you non-Louisiana folk) about a traffic light that's out. It's my third such call in the last year or so.

I know a lot of people don't get the hype, but I love Crumbl cookies. A food podcast I listen to (Food News) said they would have to diversify to stay relevant. I follow them on IG and I've noticed they have more desserts on the menu. Just saw a post from them and they've officially dropped the "cookies" from their name.

My boss and most of my immediate team know. There's a board meeting tonight, so I imagine he'll tell the exec committee. He's working on an interim plan before making a community wide announcement.

Yeah, we'll do a send off for the kids and then he's gonna take the team out for drinks on my last day.
