He's the PM, he's got far more liability losing control of the nation than LGE for not being able to control his wife. Besides, who used money for shopping and that giant ring? I'd say Najib deserves it.

Interesting, wasn't Dato' Onn Jaafar the first person to advocate opening UMNO to non-Malay members which resulted in his expulsion from the party? I wonder who the culprit is... hmm.

When the likes of TAR and Dato' Onn Jaafar despise the current UMNO Baru, you know it has long deviated from it's original purpose. UMNO Baru is not UMNO.

I'm surprised that the usual culprits for hating on vernancular schools have yet to show up, or are they just late to sign in for their usual paycheck today?

That being said, I don't disagree to a single stream for education of the future generation provided:
1. It is one of quality and actually improves the literacy of its citizens.
2. One of meritocracy instead of one based on racial segregation or quotas.
3. Freedom to choose at least one or more of any languages to master alongside Bahasa Malaysia.
4. Secular without any religious influences which impedes logical reasoning or indirect conversion.
5. Not politically motivated or designed to brainwash students into false nationalism that supporting the country means supporting the current regime.

Perhaps there is more to add, but the plain fact is, nobody will argue if the education system is run properly by competent people, the fact is it isn't. Therefore it is no surprise that vernancular schools continue to be relevant.

It used to be a uniformity in purpose during the early days for the fight of independence, now it is just UMNO running the show while other parties keep their toes in line and kowtow to the big brother for any scraps left on their table of benefits.

Technically it is the lingua franca for most countries in the world, most science and technology journals are written in English and even the two largest populations in the world, one whom was a British colony and meanwhile the other is a strong advocate for English mastery these days, shows you how important English still is in today's society. Instead of labelling it as a colonial language, you should see it as a global language.

Instead of focusing on what matters most, we have morons getting the limelight for all the petty issues that makes no difference in actual life. When are we going to address the elephants in the increasingly smaller room we have been stuck under the current Government's incompetence?

Drawing cartoons gets people killed.
Getting hugged by Korean heartthrobs means promiscuity.
Terrorists killing millions of innocents under the false pretence of religion lauded.
Bigots who think they can step on those who have carried them for decades being continuously funded by a corrupt government.
Officials who seem to lack half a brain continue to get re-elected and screw up the country more.

Sometimes, one wonders if there is any hope left in humanity.
