Approaching students is a lose. If it goes wrong you get no girl and lose the income. Best to just be at events and read the room/beach...etc. BBQ's are great or any outdoor event where you can make space from the noisy area.

Most guys in Japan...expats...are flunkies back home and J girls can see that just like the girls back home did.
