THEN, when we get the postcard retuned in the mail, we start questioning our local Postmasters as to the authenticity of the signatures on the post cards and DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE AND PERSONAL RESPONSE FROM EACH OF THESE PEOPLE as to weather it was them who signed the card or not.

I believe that an influx of several hundred thousand registered letters flying into the DC post office is going to get peoples attention, and also serve as at least some sort of slow-you-down type of obstical against these people doing much more damage as quickly as they are right now. (and maybe stamps wont go up again for a few more months)

There are many very eloquently written letters in this forum that post the question of costitutionality of the things MR. B.O. and the House and Senate have done or are doing. The problem as i see it is that none of these people will EVER read this letters. I am sure that there are many, many staffers who are tasked to reading and filtering the mail that these people receive.

HOWEVER, SINCE IT IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE to open somone else's mail, here is what i propose. Rather than the teabag thing, which is a good idea at heart, I suggest that we all take these very well writen letters and send them to our President and ALL of our states representatives VIA REGISTERED MAIL!!! Our elected officials in Washington strive for every single dollar of our tax money they can get their hands on.

What if they had to wait? - list this under the guise of civil disobedience

I propose that on April 15th, every person in America goes into their HR department and asks to amend their Federal withholding on their income to read EXEMPT. this is not illegal, just simply delays the payment of our taxes. WHAT IF THEY HAD TO WAIT 12 MONTHS FOR THEIR/OUR MONEY?!? After all, income withholding is basically us giving the government a interest free loan.

i know this would pose a self control problem for some people when it came time to have the money to pay their taxes but everyone should be able to plan for it.

I think this would get their attention if enough people did it.
