My family has a lake house that's been around since 1903 (currently owned jointly by my dad and his siblings, will eventually pass to me, my sister, and our cousins) near the Traverse City area and I go up there every summer and it's such a perfect place. I would love to visit the UP someday, except I can never really tear myself away from the lake long enough to do much of anything, ha.

Hi friends, I've barely been around for a while now on account of I started a new job and then had knee surgery and then bought a house and then moved into said house while mostly unable to walk, but I didn't want to ghost off into the ether without saying goodbye! I'll miss you weirdos.

Also, I obviously only bought a house so I could get a dog, and I know THAT falls under the umbrella of Official Toast Interests. He's a goofy dope and I love him a lot.
