I upgraded my sister's 3GS to 5.0.1 with 04.26.08, activation went fine with original AT&T sim, installed Ulstrasn0w and phone works fine in Brazil (receive and make calls).

The only problem is that push notifications is not working. Is it because the AT&T sim is inactive?
I haven't tried SAM yet but wanted to double check on this first.

ps: I've jb both of my sister's iPhone remotely via logmein and had zero errors, Redsn0w is flawless!!

itunes was not recognizing the phone but after a few hard resets the phone turned on, go figure!

Quick question: what's the best way to kick a 3GS out of the apple logo loop?

The phone is not jb but for some reason will not turn on, can I use redsn0w or tinyumbrella to get out of this loop? and if so, is there a better one over the other?
