DODD, CHENEY, FRANK, along with almost every sitting Senator & Congressman are founders, frontmen, or sycophants of the last three decades of abuse from the current Wall Street-based good'ol boy network of 'legal' criminals, financial rapists, and thieving pickpockets or any other activity founded in 'fine-print'.
Any new 'conservative' movement in America will take this global awareness into consideration; now that the tainted scum of Wall Street tycoons have made it obvious to the rest of us, by becoming too greedy even for their own good.
This became clear to many middle class Americans, once we noted that the combined de-valuation of our homes (& American real-property in general), was equal to the percentage of unemployed+under-employed+forced-early-retirements combined.
This leads many of us to the clear conclusion that true American wealth lies not in 'financial services' but rather in the productivity of the industrious, efficient, knowledgeable, and capable American Workforce.

When my granfathers were part of the 'greatest generation', company boards & CEO's had salaries merely hundreds of times larger than their best-paid laborers & producers. Back then loan-sharks were put in prison for decades when caught charging more than %17 interest. Companies created wealth based upon product created & fabricated by a highly trained, hard working, and efficient american labor force, using abundant national resources. Our industries were powered by the mightiest infrastructure of state-of-the-art energy & chemical industries.

Somehow, at the height of the 'great society', each of those values was rapidly replaced by outsourcing, shipping factories & knowledge overseas, or worse-importing foreign workers to replace american labor. Since that time NO new Nuclear Power plants, Chemical Refineries, and very few factories were built here.
Our mighty rail, shipping, and even automotive industries stagnated with ever-decreasing manufacturing or technological capabilities. Credit Card companies put loan sharks out of business, then proceeded to strip the personal wealth of 75% of the population.

Taxation is not charity. It is a service-based fee.

Frankly, since they're giving my money away to Bankers & Financiers and other Wall Street institutions who have made their entire careers upon gouging the American consumer,** ...Well, I WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK - NOW! ...Because the Wall Street 'stimulus' is NOT what I signed up for, either as a citizen or patriotic veteran.

Engineer al large (because MY jobs have all been given to H1B foreigners, or destroyed by 'financial geniuses' gutting the American infrastructure).

Laws are only needed for sociopaths, or those who have no shame.
Everybody else understands the intent of the social pact the Constitution represents. Yes, there should be some exceptions in time of emergency & war, but let us not devolve into a constant state of crisis.

Since there are 73 AIG executives recieving over $1Million dollars of U.S. tax money, and HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people affected by the current economic crisis MADE WORSE BY THOSE SAME EXECUTIVES, I would say the ratio is decidedly AGAINST many times more children of regular Americans.

Emotional? I'm an Engineer, not a politico, or corporate apologist.
I've had most of a year to figure the root cause, and corporate support for the current economic 'crisis': Oilmen & Automakers who chose to keep making inferior products, exporting jobs, and importing foreign oil, and wasting even more fighting over the right to pay foreigners for that oil.

Sherrifs & their Deputies are knocking on the doors of homeowners AND renter families who MOSTLY have children.
MY bonus last year was $50, just before I got laid off that is... and I would give it back if it meant even ONE family would not have to go homeless...If I hadn't used it to pay for diapers & the meager 'christmas' my children enjoyed.
Those millions of 'bonus' dollars, paid to corporate financial officers (including foreign nationals) for services WHICH WHEN RENDERED CAUSED MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD, would go a long way to pay back hard-working Americans.

I'd like to see any of these scumbag execs, from Madof (who 'made off' with our money too) to AIG should try living on MY BUDGET: Hey, I EARNED my unemployment insurance credits, but the $95 a week UI I pull down (after taxes) is rather minor compared to the MILLIONS scammed by AIG (and other corporate executives).

Yes, he forgot just one little thing: MY HOME IS NOT A 'TOXIC' ASSET! I cannot make payments; not because I'm a bad risk, but because I cannot get an Engineering job, or any other mid-career position paying 'living wages'. H1B? That means 'help foreign-based international business' strip away American jobs & other assets. Pretty soon they'll want to forclose, so they can sell my house to foreign 'investors' too.

That Trillion in Commodity exchange, is printing dollars to KEEP American housing & other assets American.

Nice try Glen. Now go back monday, and show how the duly elected government is re-investing in America. I don't know about your house, but mine is worth more to me & America than the Trillion of printed 'funny money'.

Washington, other than the corporate lobbyists, and Cheney's crew, DID NOT CAUSE THE CURRENT ECONOMIC CRISIS. Corporations who stopped Energy independence, and started shipping American factories & jobs 'offshore' 30 years ago did.

The blame still lies with AIG, and Wall Street Executives in general who call my house TOXIC ASSETS. Hey! I worked hard, and served my country to earn that property too! Now, because the 'market' (I.E. 'Wall Street' and its International Financial cronies) have killed/exported American jobs, they're begging the government for MY tax dollars?
The 'Tourists' on those busses; all hard-working, Bill paying taxpayer Americans should be carrying zip-ties or handcuffs, not cameras or letters. They'll throw your letters out, just as corporations fill our mailboxes with junk mail & inboxes with SPAM, to rip consumers off of what little we have left.

Better yet, Americans who were victimized by AIG (and that's just about EVERYBODY who is invested in this country), should bring padlocks to sieze FATCAT EXECUTIVE HOMES. The proceeds from any one of these McMansions would finance whole neighborhoods in working-class neighborhoods.

They won't let up until every penny of value is drained from the dollar, and they can forclose on YOUR home too.
