You are exactly right. We have let this happen through electing officials who have lied to us in one way or another, haven't done what they have said they would, gone with their parties beliefs I guess as a way to get re-elected, or tried to make their own mark by pushing their own personal adgenda.
I feel that Washington and everyone afiliated with it needs a firm kick in the you know what and a nice thurough investigation. We'll see who they really are. One fishy event in their past, present or future should cause them to lose their seat. NO RETIREMENT either. They can go on unemployment just like everyone else. That should be a part of the 'TRANSPARENCY'
There are a lot of people that would do the right thing for the country while in office, not the thing that benefitted them.

I bet there weren't as many unregistered guns in the hands of criminals willing to use them in those countries as ours! Power to the criminal will be our new slogan! Way to go B.Hussein Obama! Maybe they are making the move to more anarchy AND more government. Wait, how does that work?

I am tired of everyone getting up in arms about the word that describes an union between two people of the same sex.
Don't they already have the same rights as everyone else? C'mon, Don't we have bigger problems to fix?
If a group of people such as this put all of this time and energy into investigating the corruption in the government or upturning the finnancial slump, or even fixing the immigration issue this would be a better place to live. But no the have to take the liberties given to them, spit on the people who gave them, and have the nerve to demand more.

I'm not sure why the gays can't let the word Marriage go. It took me twenty seconds (courtesy of the thesaurus) to find a list of other terms that could be used instead. They can pick whichever they want just use another word.

Youcan never put too much trust in government deceit.
How can the government go after guns that they don't know exist? They would go after the guns that were registered with the govt. upon purchase. How can you not see that criminals would benefit from this? If they could prove that this isn't so I would love to see it.
I don't know about you but a crime with a knife always seems to be more gruesome to me. It seems so much more up close and personal. I do agree with you that making the punishment for a crime with a gun much tougher. That would help with gun crimes and help put an end to these horrible atrocities.
Bottom line is ALL politicians in BOTH parties need to find neutral ground with each other and stop pushing their own adgenda's or there will only be Democrats and Republicans in Washington nowhere else.
The citizens of the U.S. will be Bipartisan give or take, waiting for their elected officials to wake up and realize who they were elected by and what the people really want.
