Hello, everyone. I've been a lurker here for a long time, think I had a few comments & replies some time long ago. I've been coming back here persistently, and with news of the potential new situation of smashlolz developing thanks to Alpar and the Milk cartons, I'll probably go on to lurk there, and hopefully it will succeed as much as this place once did. (and in some ways, kinda still does). The community here is absolutely amazing, and its been really great to watch everything as it has unfolded. Here's to one of the greatest communities in gaming!

A: The Klinklang could have been from his childhood, as stated by omnomynous, or;
B: The klink you fought could have simply decided to follow along. No Pokéballs required.

I think Shawn may be referring to the second time. Albiet, had Link studied, he would have been prepared. Really, this problem is more Link than Zelda.

As well, access to these Pokemon was incredibly likely, you would always have to fight a Snorlax, pass the guy with theLapras, and would likely notice the 3 people with the starters. The probable reason Red switched from Espeon to Lapras is that a) Hail without an Ice type, b) Eevee as a bit more off the beaten path than Lapras, who was nearly shoved in your face.
