My mouth is watering. I've never seen his version before.

She is pretty terrible in her entitlement and the weirdness you mention. Her food looks good, though!

I also get weirded-out by some of her visits to local growers and cooks. I can't tell if they are just shy on camera, or is she clueless (at the least) to them off camera?

Interesting! If I see her again I'm going to watch for this.

I would read this series! I can't handle Joanne Weir at all, so condescending.

This is why vegetables often taste better in restaurants: salt and sugar. And butter, obviously, lashings of it.

I make his crispy chicken thighs all the time. I don't usually do the sauce, but his technique for cooking the thighs is aces.

I don't know, I feel like he's always correcting/criticizing her? At least in the early shows that she was on, which is all I remember seeing. If he can't help himself criticizing, even on television, I wonder what cooking with him was like at home. Possibly quite nervous-making.

In the Catholic Church we've been practicing our emotionally-manipulative schtick for literally centuries! It's the best. If you like that sort of thing (I do).

I hope you are so transported by the show that you don't even notice that black cloud, at least for those few hours.

Hello I have also never seen Titanic. We might be the only ones.
