Absolutely disgusting that he only gets 14 years-not that he will even spend that much time in prison. Sometimes our legal system truly makes me sick. Why would they agree to a plea deal? Was there some reason they thought they would not be able to get a conviction?

I hope both children are okay-but I put some of the blame on the mother. You cannot tell me that she had no idea the p.o.s. she brought around her children was a decent human capable of caring for such small children-especially leaving them alone in his care for days.

As a parent to a child nearly that age, I cannot even fathom what the family is going through. I hope the boy is found okay, but the likely hood of that is quickly diminishing. So sad.
