Victoria and co. last night were the highlight of the whole Olympics for me.

On such a Spice Girls hype right now!

He wasn't. :(

Yeah, I'd expected to have had at least some mention of Kirk Urso's untimely passing on here.

Tragic news. Was one of his 1000 twitter followers. Didn't know him well at all but hearing of the news really shocked and upset me. So, so young too :(

My thoughts go out to all those who knew and loved him, especially his family, friends and everyone at the Crew. Truly heartbreaking...

Plus, the South Korean fans who were at the game were some of the best I've ever seen at a football match.

I was at that game. He played rubbish too. And don't even get me started on the hair...

Not quite 6ft but his beauty makes up for it - Aaron Ramsey.

If not, then Gareth Bale.

He made a big deal about wanting to play in the Olympics though. Wore the shirt even, so it baffles me as to why he wouldn't want to go all of a sudden. This was likely to have been his only chance of an international tournament as well. Nothing has stopped the other Welsh players there. The issue's not just with him obviously, it's with Spurs and Pearce and co at Team GB. I assume they didn't bother to assess Bale themselves, they may have realised he'd have been fit to participate otherwise.

Spurs shouldn't have played him so soon. Another week and they and Bale would have got away with it but now all parties look foolish for what's happened.

Sepp Blatter, I feel, was talking sense for once. I felt Spurs/Bale should have been punished. Unfortunately people don't take the Olympics seriously, so they've got away with it, but as a fan really looking forward to see Bale at these Olympic Games I can't help but feel mugged off at him being fit to play for his club at the moment.

First time in my life I was not happy seeing Gareth Bale play. I'd got a ticket to see Team GB, pretty much just to see him (and Becks). So much for him being injured.
