I always seem to root for the underdog. He's just tried so hard. He looked so crushed sitting there on the chair after the match.

And: Dresden rocks!

Thanks for your comments! Yes, everything can seem to run together after a while. I think that's one of the reason's I find that taking breaks from reading is helpful. Clears the head for a whole bunch of new stuff!

And you're right. A good story is a good story no matter the genre.

Thanks. I'm still trying to work out some layout spacing issues.

Yes, she did. Gerritsen's very good at having the reader hear each character's voice. As for picking on a profession, to me that's different than good character development. Good character development, especially when you don't like a character, allows for growth if you the reader are willing to give the next book a shot.

Thanks for your comments. I've been busy with so many other things recently that I have not been able to visit other blogs or even find time to read. Now that things are settling down, I hope to get back to my blogging routine.

Yes. He has a wonderful imagination. And he's willing to take risks in his writing. I admire that.

I know that I started at your site. And then you know how it goes. . .a link here, a link there. :D And there's been so much talk lately about how there are so many great book blogs out there. I wanted to find one that I had not seen before, but that had a unique spin to it. Guy Lit Wire definitely has a different perspective on books and I think that's good. Helps keep everyone on their toes. I hope you find many good book suggestions for your nephew from Guy Lit Wire.
