No doubt, I remember watching a news report during the election talking about how they had actually found out that ACORN had signed up Mickey Mouse. Now, I live in Florida and I love Disney, but I know that mouse didn't vote...lol. I'm still puzzled as to how that wasn't investigated.
They'd have our motto be "Land of the submissive, home of the non-protesting" if they could. I agree with you, we don't have anything to apologize for..now if only our "leaders" felt that way.
Oh yes, he's fantastic. I found myself cheering him on. Maybe we should invite him to come and address our Congress LOL! Kind of like with Super Nanny, it's the same things we say, but the accent really sells it for some people. That's at least the kind of passion I'd like to see displayed from just one of our representatives, just one!
Well if he is, he is doing a fine job because he has my head spinning! If he isn't, I'm even more scared b/c that is exactly how Obama is in office. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that none of the Obama supporter's who have graced up with their presence seem to have any actual supporting facts or real reasoning with which to support their opinions of whom they elected? When we start asking them questions, in an effort to understand their logic, it's like they all go into some pre-programmed speech or something. It's rather mindless and creepy really. Even the one's on T.V. do it when the reporter's are asking them a direct question, they go into Obamabot mode.."Obama good, Inherited deficit, working hard".
Oh and just on a side note (follow up to the first comment for this post). Good thing our Founding Fathers didn't take this attitude huh? We'd all still be considered British and paying taxes without any form of representation in Parliament. Just something for you to ponder.
No young Elliott, most of them were elected due to money, not knowledge. As far as there not being an America without them, you are dead wrong. America is not, and was not designed to be dependant on one body of government (such as Congress) this is the reason there is more than one branch of government. As long as the Constitution lives, and "We the People" are here speaking up and defending that freedom, so then does America and it's promises and dreams live. The beauty of what our Founding Fathers did by giving us this republic and our constitution is that it was and always will be up to us to have a say in our government, not the government telling us what is to be.
You are so on point here that it's scary. I just can't understand how we are the only ones who see it?
Here again, I have to disagree with you. Rather than me providing you with all the examples of the poor decisions just made by our "leaders", why don't you provide me with your reasoning behind thinking they have worked so hard so that we don't have to sacrifice? Are they doing that for our border states right now, as we speak we are paying for an illegal immigrants family to have benefits that many of our own CITIZENS don't even have. Are they doing it by quadrupaling our national deficit so that our great grandchildren have no salary because it's all going to TAXES that you are so in favor of? Ok see I gave you two examples and I said I wouldn't...your turn, make em' good please.
I must respectfully disagree with your way of thinking here Elliott. They are our paid representatives, meaning our tax dollars pay their salaries. It is their job to uphold our constitution and laws, not to vote according to thier own agenda, which is exactly what most of them are currently doing. Just as with any job, if you don't perform your assigned tasks in a productive manner, then you are tossed out on your can. Same theory applies to our Congressional Reps.
