Its actualy more wasteful to turn them of for five hours. They only get turned off in yards with power hookups if staying over night.

The reason there was not a mechanical fault is becuase it was an electronic fault. The pedal and flap are no longer connected by a metal cable.

They are being scrutinized because it is there product that had he problem. GM, Ford, Honda, Kia, and the other competitors are not having a problem.

There source code should be made alvaliable to plantifs attorneys if there was bodily/ or severe property damage caused by the acelleration.

Actualy after your second DUI your suspended from driving for at least 2 years or more depending on bac. The problem is they can still drive under the infuance because all they need is a car to drive. The only way to definatly stop repeat offenders is to put them in jail.
The laws in washington state for DUI are strict enough and what is most effective for DUI's is counsoling and ingition interlock devices.

Putting someone elses picture up on facebook with out permission is against the terms of facebook. All someone would need to do is report it and it would have to be taken down. I think anyways that by humiliating a someone convicted of DUI on facebook would be illegal because of cruel and unusual punishment. Puting up pictures of accused DUI's would be very stupid first because its illegal and socondly make it harder for a conviction because of jury problems. Also mugshots of convicted people are public record but to obtain them you need to write to the jail/courthouse and pay a fee.

I think the effort being put into the facebook mugshot would be beter spent on partols, education/awarness, and increasing punishment.

Most passenger cars don't have splashguards because they don't need them. But I was comparing an open tire tread design (mud tire) vs a close tread design (street) and not splashguards.
