Sweet merciful Tight Pants, that Wil Wheaton one got me right in the laughing place.
Comic Joel is a dick. Wil Wheaton would not approve.
"[Y]ou must rank the Star Trek Captains from 'best to Janeway'." Oh, so it's best, bester, bestest, bestester, Janeway? Sounds good to me.
I've had Road Trip Tripping before. When I met Josh, he lived 11 hours away, so there was plenty of time for me to go crazy.
Also, the comic is _beautiful_. It looks like a thousand nymphs shat watercolors on your canvas as part of a spritely dance.
Oh, I totally agree. A thing has been making its way around the tubes that is completely appropriate:
"Dear American Horror Story family: just move out of the f-ing house -- you'll thank us later.
Amityville Horror, Poltergeist, The Shining, Beetlejuice, Evil Dead, The Haunting, The Changeling, Rose Red, The Others, The House On Haunted Hill, 13 Ghosts and The Woman In Black."
I'm really enjoying the show. The first episode was full of tripe and tropes, but I think each subsequent ep has been pretty great. (Except for the not-moving-out thing, of course. I mean, seriously.)
Wait, Joel is gay in the McAplin-verse? Does that mean Josh is straight? Denise is Hispanic and Eli is Asian? Up is down, cats are marrying dogs... it's INSANITY!
I find myself oddly attracted to Mr. McAlpin's version of Joel. >_>
I love how the lo-fi versions of the characters are starting to become more and more chibi-like.
