Oh man, this just brought back awkward memories of this one boyfriend I had in college. We pretty much exclusively made out (and whatever else) with Mirrorball playing in the background. Yikes.
I prefer a full liter of Polar Seltzer--what's better than a limited edition flavor, honestly--but that's the New Englander in me.
I see others have the same question...
What the hell is girl-about-town lipstick?
Wondering if Nicole or others have an update on the Thinx-piece (oof, sorry)? Are you still satisfied? Reporting from day 2 and hoping there's a better way. Plus I think the subway ads are working on me.
The Equestranauts was one of my favorite episodes of television maybe ever. Or just watch all of them.
Totally! And when you figure out you can be funny in another language and have a sense of play with words...it's like being a child again. I really curse myself for letting my italian go fallow. Ah well, there's always 2016!
I adored that essay! And I totally share her love for Rome and Ovid. I speak and write Italian just ok, but I really related to her description of feeling a new world open up with a new language. Somehow you're still you, but a different you, one maybe you didn't have access to before. Lovely, indeed.
