use iTunes? what are you trying to achieve ? do you need ultrasnow unlock ? and what BB is the phone on?

it sounds like a fraudulent website promising you a baseband unlock that doesn't and may never exist. You should only pay for IMEI unlocks ultrasnow has been and will always be free! BB firmware is not down gradable and its not available separate to an IOS its included if unlock is required please try to get IMEI unlock from original carrier or grey market dealers.

are you restoring from a backup? a clean fresh restore shouldn't be crashing as all iPhone users would have the same issues, especially without jailbreak.

another thing you could try is see if you have any things installed through cydia that may effect the app store anything that hooks into it saves restoring

ISHSHit from cydia works wonders downloads straight from cydia and allows you to send them to yourself by email ;)

absolutely correct assuming you are factory unlocked ?

1. backup all data so you wont run the risk of losing it if things dont go well
2. fresh restore in iTunes
3. jailbreak using evasi0n
4. transfer backed up data back to iPhone
5. enjoy ;)
