Unless you're one of those guys that posts "Goofs" entries on IMDB like this:
"Errors in geography: OMG I live in Springfield USA where they filmed this and they show a car going the wrong way down Finkelbean Street when everybody knows that Finkelbean Street is one-way LOL morons"
They're not morons because, in this case, NOBODY CARES.

Canadian health care isn't perfect. No one's is. It's a tough problem. But if you post any news article about how Canadian health care sucks so bad, I can just point to the life expectancy and infant mortality statistics.
Anecdotal evidence doesn't work, either. There are undoubtedly many stories about Canadians crossing the border for health care, dying while waiting on long waiting lists, etc. But for each of those stories, there's at least one story about HMOs refusing to pay for necessary treatment, dropping people for "pre-existing conditions", putting families in ungodly amounts of debt, being basically inaccessible to a large percentage of the country...

Well, I guess you sure told me!
"At the other end of the spectrum, the Canadian rate is less than one-third that of Turkey and the United States, which have, respectively, the first and second highest murder rates among the 15 nations."
Wait a second...

According to your post, 11.4% of Canada (meaning, that percentage of PEOPLE LIVING IN CANADA) is below the poverty line.
According to your post, 12.5% of the U.S. (meaning, PEOPLE LIVING IN THE U.S.) is below the poverty line.
The fact that Canada has a smaller population is relevant how? Do you honestly not understand how numbers work?
