Hi Fisk, I am too a democrat. I do know how the government actually works, and I have studied it for many years. I would like to know what was debunked on the site today, because I could not find what you were saying. I know for a fact that not all democrats are evil, liberal liars, but the ones that are good are kept from the spotlight.

I'm sorry but I disagree with you about healthcare. It is not a right, it is a privilege, and people need to stop thinking they are entitled to anything in this country. It is not my problem that people cannot get healthcare, you know why, I am laid off and lost my healthcare, and I will be damned before I ask the government for a handout. I don't want to ever owe them my soul for anything! Does healthcare need to BE reformed? Yes, but definitely not in the socialist/progressive way that they are intending.

I am worried about what Obama is doing. He is like Bush number 3 to me now. He is taking Bush's policies and running with them at high speed, and that scares me.

Ok - for years the ultra-left has marched, protested, some have defaced and mobbed military recruitment offices, called the President every filthy name in the book, produced plays / books / movies slamming the President and the war effort (and I was not a supporter of the war, by the way), openly fantasized about the killing of the President, openly advocated for killing Jews, viciously attacked Christians and conservatives and have advocated violence against said groups.

Nothing said or done about it by the feds - nothing. I would think that if there had been, Code Pink would have been shouting it from the rooftops (and that would have been the right thing to do, frankly).

But now some housewives, retirees, working people and young people want to protest insane deficits and the overreaching federal government and we are suspected "right wing militia members"???????

You know what I find funny about this whole situation and debate over guns, is that no one ever asks what a victim wants? I mean the survivors. I was a victim and I was unarmed. If I had my choice now, well things may have been different. Of course, no one cares what I think because my agenda is based on personal experience not just sitting around and talking and arguing about it. I don't like guns at all, and I make that clear, however, I do support the right of the citizens of the US to bear arms. Stop trying to protect me from myself!!!! 3/28/09 UPDATE FOR “THE PATRIOT MARCH ON WASHINGTON, 2009”

First off, we appreciate everyone wanting to get involved in support of this march, Thank you all very much! The amount of emails that are coming in is getting overwhelming, but we are not complaining. We want to answer every one of them.

Here's what's going on:

We have been doing a lot of research this weekend, and have been talking to a lot of people. We have came to the conclusion that we may not be able to have the march on April 30th, but hope is not lost yet. The amount of work with getting permits, insurance, legal issues, and other issues for getting a march in DC is staggering to say the least. There is a ton of red tape involved. I think it is sad that we have to go through so much of that "red tape," but my wife and I want to do things the right way and the legal way. We are working Actively with a group that is working hard to help us with our goal, and they want this to succeed as much as we all do. I will keep everyone updated on this when we get more info. We are still hoping to get a march going some time soon.

We did get some great news this weekend though. A person who emailed had us get in contact with Michael Brewer, National Chairman of The Moderate Party located in Washington, DC. They want us to join with them for their march "The Great American 500" taking place on June 20th, 2009 (this is the date of Obama's 500th day in office). We like the idea of joining them, because they have had time to get everything needed for a march like this. They have all the permits in place, insurance worked out, and all other issues that go along with this. They are also working with a major nationwide chain of hotels that will be giving everyone discounts for staying there while traveling to the march, and when we get there. They are also talking to businesses in the DC area about discounts on food. We talked to Michael for quite a while yesterday, and we really like what they have set up. Hopefully you all will agree about our group combining forces with them.

One thing that this will give us all is some choices of what we can do. If we get our march set up in time, people can go with us then. If we can't get our march set up, we have the other march as a backup plan. And, if things work out, we could try to go to both marches.

We'd like to have all your input, but the only thing we ask, is please wait until we get the website up and running to let us know what you all want to do. We will be able to communicate better when we can be abe to get more organized. The web site will be a tremendous help in this area.

Speaking of the web site, we will be talking to the person who has it set up today. We will send out another mass email letting you know when it is up and running. It should be going in a day or two.

We also have had someone step up and has designed an awesome flyer for our efforts. This person has done a great job on it, but we will be getting hold of this person to do a couple more for us. When these flyers are done, we will be posting them on the web site for everyone to download.
