I live in a neighborhood with quite a few crows. Zoa barks at them when they are down on the sidewalk hanging out. They fly up and look down from the wires mocking her.

It does. Things made of sticks hanging in trees and bushes.

The surgery was in my neck. An insert had been attached to ny larynx back in 2016 to help with the volume of my speech and it detached and migrated into my throat causing an infection. I discovered it because I developed an abscess in my surgery scar. Luckily, my surgeon saw me right away. They removed it and from what I understand, they found gortex left in there from a previous operation. I'm going to need to ask her more about that when we speak.

When I was 29, I took a leave of absence and went to Ganada, Spain to live there for a year. It was so hard. I didn't speak Spanish, had no job, no connections. I managed to make it work but it was humbling for sure. I was also disappointed by the produce. Californians are spoiled.

I am awarding myself this golden chestnut I found on my walk this morning for completing my 10K steps a day 28 day challenge today. I’m now averaging about 13K a day and that doesn’t include my steps at work since I don’t carry my phone on me at work.

Funny how an app can tap that competitive drive to stay tied for first. Normally, I like to chill on the weekends. Haven’t had a day off in 4 weeks. Low key competitive chick here.
