The possibility of default has increased substantially with an AA(plus) demotion but highly unlikely even within the next decade. No such organization is exempt from risk, and I hope you all understand before running around with your pitchforks. Risk always existed even with a AAA rating. Though, WA clearly does need to be fixing budget allocation and business friendly incentives to continue producing revenue. WA's become a state that seemingly produces more intellectual output than actual physical product output, we might want to consider maintaining those relationships.

There is conclusive evidence done by the American Psychological Association that homosexual parenting vs. modern heterosexual parenting does not differ. Naivety will not get you far my friend. I hope for the best for you stranger, in health and happiness; whether you are gay or straight. I hope you can overcome this burden on yourself and let people live theirs lives as you've lived your own.

I'll just leave this here..

This is why we shouldn't hire a politician to do an economist's job. Why aren't we considering levies instead to encourage manufacturers to create better serving products for the direction the state hopes to go? Take for example Seattle's Green approach. Applying a tax that encourages manufacturers to choose eco-friendly materials can have a powerful downstream effect. Industry itself, never mind the consumer, is better served by making that small adjustment up front than by risking a crash in sales from the people.

It should be the manufacturers themselves to get hit with a levy, a charge they can handle in far more flexible ways than the ordinary shopper standing in the checkout aisle. If the manufacturer makes a small adjustment the cost is distributed and diluted through the manufacturing and marketing chain, it's more of an impact. That’s not to say manufacturers won’t pass any increased tax bill directly onto consumers. They will. But the price hike will be a few pennies, as compared to many other taxes.

Oh, I wish I never got out more. I wish I could have grown up not deprived of the basic right to live. I am a survivor of the Khmer Rouge regime. Tell you what, the odor of rotting flesh never leaves your memory no matter how much older you get.

It's always so simple. As if the complexity of an issue is so profound and impartial reasoning cannot exist. Why isn't it that our officers aren't motivated to lead protestors in the direction they want them to go rather than bring hostility? Why is force always the last option? There are so many options.

You an I are not so different. I assume we both work, bring value with the hard work and provide for ourselves and/or people who need us. How is that we can't see eye-to-eye, for the sake of humanity, that a person in authority hurting another person for merely being non-violently defiant is not in essence, wrong? I know many officers who would have acted otherwise. Men and women of uniform willing to speak rather than bring another person down to their knees with force. This is wrong, all of it.

In Germany, a protesting older man had his eyes blown out by a police water cannon while peacefully protesting and after being "asked" to disperse.

I don't understand where you come in here to say because of a party's non-violent disorder a violent reaction is deserved. How do you continue to acclimate to the idea this is okay and preach this? You believe in this false reality, the entirety of a just-world fallacy.

There are anecdotal accounts of people seeing the prisoners of concentration camps for the first time and assuming they must have been terrible criminals. The first place the mind goes is the place where the world is just.

See to your core you want to believe hard work and virtue will lead to success. That those who are lazy, evil, and manipulative will go on to terribly-deserving lives, so you go ahead and edit the world to match those expectations. Yet, in reality, evil often prospers and never pays the price.

I sometimes wonder if there's a legitimate respect for logical headlines at KOMO. If we were all charged for fathering a child, many of us would be screwed wouldn't we?

Eh, I don't agree on the support of the confederate ideals. But I do whole-heartedly believe in the First Amendment and their right to express their beliefs and speak without censorship, regardless of what medium they choose to use.
