I've been preaching this for years to no avail. People just have to have their parties. Country is secondary. Besides, without political parties how would people know who to automatically hate? They would have to look at issues. You are so silly.

It's not a list targeting people! It's a database.

Just imagine having a site that's reliable enough to trust information you get from it regarding politicians and their records. In addition to the obvious benefits to people looking for information to vote, I suspect a site like that would terrify most of our existing politicians. I think that since their number one priority is self preservation they would have to change their behavior dramatically for the better just to stay in office. The people running it would have to have a LOT of integrity though, because inevitably someone would try to buy them off.

I don't know if this is what you mean, but I have been thinking for sometime that there should be a site that keeps track of every politician and what he has done, how he's voted, his views, etc. Everything you would need to know to make an informed decision on who to vote for. It's absolutely astonishing how people are so clueless about who they vote for. When you consider some of the politicians in office right now you just can't help but wonder how any sane person could vote them into office, not just once, but repeatedly! Such a site would have to be objective though. If it sticks to the facts and doesn't inject opinion into the profiles of the politicians, I think this would be a great service. It might even give some other people or organizations the idea to create a database of politicians. If people could actually get the truth just imagine how different things could be. Bring it on!

I suspect fear was part of the reason O'Reilly sold out.

I don't watch a lot of Bill O'Reilly anymore, but old habits die hard, and I guess I still can't believe how much he sold out. It's hard to fathom. After watching just a little of his show tonight, I couldn't stand it anymore and turned it off. It was making me ill. It inspired me to come here and make a post about him, and lo and behold, the first post here was about him! So I will just post as a reply to this one.

It doesn't seem like long ago at all that I thought this guy was a hero of sorts! His Culture War was so dead on and important as far as what is happening in this country, and also in how important it is for us to fight this wave of anti-American socialism that's gripped the country. What the he*l happened? First he just drops the culture war, then as he realizes there will be a new emperor wearing new clothes, with completely different subjects, he starts ever so gradually shifting to the left, and he still hasn't stopped. Tonight's shocking revelation is that now we should talk to terrorists just as Obama has advocated! Every time someone says something about Obama now he defends him in some way. Apart from his viewers he has stabbed a LOT of people in the back. How has he gotten away with this? Has he just exchanged viewers without impacting his ratings, or is he just converting people? If he's converting people we're really screwed. Viewers aside, when are some of his associates like Dennis Miller, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin, etc. going to call him on this? They are now all at odds with him. I haven't detected any change on their part and still have respect for what they have to say, but I can no longer stomach the huge phony that Bill O'Reilly has become. Surely SOMEONE in the media close to O'Reilly will bring attention to this sooner or later. I know Glenn Beck should definitely say something to him. He has increasingly treated Glenn Beck like dirt ever since he came over to Fox. He keeps insulting him and Glenn just let's it go. He continues to step up his attacks on Beck. I believe it was quite obvious right from the start that Beck's high ratings threatened O'Reilly. It's pretty obvious O'Reilly is only concerned with one thing, his show. He has no integrity or principle. He's just a dangerous fraud now. Ironically, it wasn't long ago I was constantly defending him from vicious attacks and laughing at the absurd lies being told about him. This is really depressing. Who's next? Beck? Hannity? Ingraham? Hopefully their character and integrity are real.

I give up. I don't think a lot of people here would be convinced under any circumstances. As far as I'm concerned it's a dead issue. Continuing to pursue this just makes you look like you have zero credibility and you will continue to be mocked. Glenn Beck even considers this a dead issue as far as I know. I guess you don't trust him on it either. If people at this site keep pursuing obvious lies, what is to separate us from the mainstream media? When they call us nuts and can actually provide positive proof that 912ers are liars we lose a lot of potential support.

How about the story today on this site stating that John McCain's campaign looked into the matter (Why wouldn't they?) and found no truth to the claims of him not being a citizen, and did find solid proof that he is an American citizen?

Bill O'Reilly looked into it and says there is no doubt Obama is a citizen.

Snopes.com and Factcheck.org state he is a citizen, but I understand anyone not believing them because they are biased. However, I haven't found fault with TruthorFiction.com yet and they also seem to indicate his citizenship is valid. Two law cases were thrown out trying to prove this. They were found to have no merit. How much more is necessary?
