I agree with you 100% JAFO! Too many Americans have lived like pigs for the last 20 years and no longer know what it means to save for something that they want or need. To all you credit card holders that have constantly run up your credit cards over all these years just to impress your friends and neighbors...I say it's time to pay the piper. Again folks...one word here...it's called RESPONSIBILITY!! Don't you whine about the bank bailouts either...you can see the fed is doing a fantastic job with those criminals..NOT!
On a side note...anyone remember the term LAYAWAY? Well most probably haven't, but it's coming back in a big way...it's how I bought my first stereo back in the 80's. I've always liked layaways because it forces you people that don't know the meaning of savings, to pay for it in installments...when you have paid it in full, then you get to take your prize home.

It never ceases to amaze me why we need to go through this each year. Folks I have one word for you. That word is called RESPONSIBILITY! If you are living on a flood plain or right next door to a raging river, here's angrycop's advice....GET OUT!!! LEAVE!!! TAKE RESPONSIBILTY!!! I'm sick and tired of my insurance rates going up because you people fail to take responsibility for your own actions! MOVE ALREADY!!!

You obviously misunderstood my answer. I realize from the average civilians perspective, it may look like we aren't following anyone, and are simply speeding just for speeding sake...is that what you are saying???? I think I answered you correctly the first time....We do this because we are PATROLLING the highway, not necessarily in pursuit of anyone, but LOOKING for someone that is driving in a reckless/aggressive manner. Have I made myself clear little man?
How do you think we catch the majority of road ragers? Do you think we always sit on the side of the highway so you can spot us and slow down and start behaving? No sir. We catch most of the more severe traffic offenders either by air, or by sneaking up behind you so you don't notice us. So yes, there is a reason you see us speeding in HOV lanes without our lights on. This is a very standard and effective practice we use to patrol the highways, and based on my experience in catching aggresive drivers, most of the people that witness the take down are very supportive that I've taken one more jackass off the highway.
I saw the video this evening and although it's pretty good. I'm not sure if it's going to help the investigation out. I don't know about you, but most of these thugs look the same to me. Drive through Rainer Valley and you'll want to arrest 80% of the filth walking around there.
