Mom and I are going to go in September (5 day out of Galveston, TX). Josh and I have been to the Western Caribbean twice (Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel). I am, like, the Go-To Girl for planning and getting good deals on cruises, so if you ever are seriously browsing and need some tips/help, ask me! I have done a sad amount of research on cruises, hah.

Becca, I highly recommend you guys going on a cruise. Josh and I went on our first one in 2006 and pretty much booked another one for a year later right away. So now we've been on two and I have already bought one for me and my Mom to go. It was the perfect getaway. Carnival is very affordable if you find the right deal. Summers are way more expensive but we usually go during hurricane season and it's around half the price. Royal Caribbean is a bit nicer and more expensive, but still relatively affordable. Anyway, just thought I would make that suggestion. :)
