I used to ride horses competitively from age 7-19. I quit until last year (I'm 34 now). In July she flew in to be my Horse Show Mom for my first show in 15 years. Then last month she drove up here to Ohio where I live from south Texas, with my aunt that she roadtrips with because said aunt won't fly anywhere, upon my mentioning I had another horse event I was doing that weekend. She drove me crazy while here, but, love her. She can still wrangle the dang horses while I'm trying to get myself ready, too.

I made an account for commenting to just to say YES, TO ALL OF THIS. I just posted the link on facebook with this caption - "So many FEELINGS about every word of this. I always wondered if people felt like I do about the Mountain Goats, and I'm glad to know at least one person does. Maybe my friends who are fans do too??"

I can't wait to leave work and blast my favorite Mountain Goats songs and cry and laugh now.
