Amen Michael, Amen. There's only one solution. Rewrite history and have Montcalm win the little argument he and Wolfe had and give the whole country to Quebec. But would that be enough?
Hardly Yves. Canada was built by a whole lot more immigrants than the english and french.
Andrew, you have more intestinal fortitude than I'll ever have. Although you've been crucified here it's something that needed to be said. Manitoba has a socialist government but is fiscally responsible. Quebec has a socialist government but is fiscally irresponsible. I've heard that Quebecers are told that they are holding Canada together financially with the taxes they pay. That's hard to swallow when $23 Billion leaves our province every year and goes to Ottawa,$15B comes back and $8B goes to Quebec. But I am getting tired of the tail wagging the dog. Quebec should have it's complete freedom from Canada if that's what they want. You might have a point with the Catholic thing. I know that whenever I do something that isn't right I KNOW that I will be forgiven, 'cause I'm "catholique". :>D
And we don't have the bigge$t and be$t univer$itie$ becau$e, well, we all know money flie$ ea$t like bird$ fly $outh once a year.
Nothing personal but it's all perception mes amis.
Well I do agree with you on eagle beak.
I kind of liked old Mike. BUT, I agree with the rest of your post. As someone on here said CTV and Clark fell into the trap of being the opposition because the Liberals were so bad. "As Clark liked to say there is outrage in the land. Right only in his own mind." Great line hollinm.
That new network may as well be called CBC2 if they hired Clark and Newman.
Weston is a goof. He should also get a better toupee. As for a replacement, Jane Taber would be perfect.
No, too far left for me. I think Mike Duffy was an excellent host for that program. He didn't let the lefties continue on and on and on with their verbal diarrhea. The only problem with Mike was that he enjoyed his cookies too much, but don't we all.
Tommy was too left of centre for even CTV. He will be quite at home on CBC.
Can we maybe start an inquiry from 2005 when the LPC signed the original agreement to send Taliban fighters to the Afghan government for interrogation and beatings? Or maybe the LPC didn't care about human rights in 2005 because they were more worried about bags of in and out money to Quebec ad agencies.
