Wow! Congratulations, Joel! I must admit, I was a bit wary of how it would work when you started The Experiment. It was a fool's hope, but I still held out for the best for you. So it brings me loads of joy to know that you have been able to do it, despite the odds.
I'm sorry I don't comment on all the strips that come out, but I make for damned sure that I at least read each and every one and never fail to be entertained by them.
Also, while I'm pleased at the announcement, I want you to know that I would visit the site even if you had to scale back updating to only once a week. I'm sure the other Fancy Bastards would agree.
Thanks, Joel. For everything.
So Joel... what sort of liquid serenity were you enjoying whilst Josh cavorted skyclad? I'd venture a strong assumption at some sort of herbal steeped goodness--green tea with jasmine, mayhap?
LMMFAO! I can't help but howl with laughter (pun intended) at panel one. You do bad yiff costumes very well, Joel.
Please tell me that this was based on an actual conversation.
This. Oh so very much THIS.
Joel, I had to fight hard to respond in your defense against all negative comments about this comic. I stopped just short of hitting the submit button before I realized that it would just be stirring the pot. I realized it's not our place to stand up and dismiss any disagreeing commentors from having the freedom to voice their opinions on the comic and the tragedy in Haiti in general. While I think that some of the comments are cheap and dismissive, they're doing no worse than being honest with what they feel.
That said, this was yet another hilarious comic. I loved how Satan looks so much like his boyfriend (?), Mr. Fox Executive. And their comments taken out of context or nay, Limbaugh and Robertson are nothing but black-hearted, soulless jackanapes who deserve the American public's scorn after years of despicable comments.
Joel, I love you so goddamn much.
Joel's expressions and the fact that he's the only one with dialog make this comic. For that and for making a Twilight comic without actually being about Twilight, you earn my emphatic praise.
Brilliant, Joel! Simply brilliant!
PS: I am so glad your family (almost typed it as "familia." LOL) is doing well. The medical drama I read about earlier this evening (I missed Monday's tweets) had me very concerned.
Yes! I was just about to comment on that myself :)
