It warms my heart every time VP Biden refers to his wife as Dr. Biden, or one of the Obamas says "Dr. and Vice President Biden." Just. SO GOOD.

I went to work after a sleepless red-eye home from L.A. last summer, and was so loopy and distractible that I felt drunk. I mentioned this to my therapist recently, like, "It was kind of awesome! I was funny, and had less of a filter, and wasn't worrying about the future because I only had enough energy to focus on this moment." And then I had a realization, and said, "Is this is what people without anxiety feel like all the time?" And he said, "Yes."
