RETURN to REAGAN is a great idea for Republicans. Independents voted in droves for Reagan. but the demographics have changed dramatically. My children were born under Reagan but only know that of which I've taught them. Democrats disaffected by "changes they didn't believe would happen" may still feel that Reagan as a symbol is too Republican. Remember McCain claimed to be a Foot Soldier in the Reagan Revolution. That revolution had one thing we don't.. Regan himself. Now he can only speak through us and we do a pathetic job.
If we elect representatives from any party that share the 912 Principles and Values then it doesn't matter what party they represent they will find themselves working together. The next congress may well be a collition of conservative values... Recent comments by GOP leaders don't lead me to believe they get it yet.. There's about 6 months to learn

I've spent quite a lot of time looking at suggestions in this area and have come to the conclusion that adding more rules the the system just makes it worse. "Congress can't do X unless the moon is full on the third week of June" Even my suggestion of a bounty on bad laws doesn't solve the immediate problem of bad representation. We should just stick to the Principles and Values and make our representative live by them or get replaced. Mean what you say and say what you mean. THAT my friends solves all these problems. Less is MORE. Simple is easier.

I just watched this video that puts some things in perspective on the speed of change. Not the "Change you can believe in" but the change that is occurring now while we are whining and the Oministration is charging forward. Its urgent that we take our country back via the ballot box at every election for dog catcher thru Senator starting now through 2010 and then again thru President in 2014. Additionally, we have to get visible to the media.

George Soros is a world class investor in the league of Warren Buffet. Soros is know as a Technical investor. He also funds Liberal groups like Move-on.org. He spends his billions buying Politicians and organizations that represent his ideology and move his agenda while other billionare's are buying Hospital wings to help people. He truly is the man behind the far left curtain pulling levers, turning cranks and shouting into the microphone ominous words. Glenn Beck is Toto nipping at his heels. ( Wizard of Oz fans will remember Toto ultimately pulls the curtain back to reveal the man behind the curtain)

As a Texan whose voted for Rick Perry, I'd have to choose Palin. Palin as best I can tell means what shes says. Perhaps a little distracted with McCain on saying what she means. Perry on the other hand supports a huge super highway boon-doggle from Dallas to Mexico that has enormous imminent domain repercussions. Palin took excess revenues to the state and sent them to the citizens rather than spend it on bigger governement. Hello? Anyone listening?

G'Day Y'all
I noticed a lot of postings about what to wear to these tea parties. Particularly colors. I realize that many have already gotten T-Shirts made and such but I would like to recommend that RED & BLUE are out. They are already used by Dems and Repubs. This movement is non-party. An appropriate color for us would be BLACK and WHITE. Its the color the Founders wore the most. ;-) Additionally, it is a statement that we believe there are absolutes such as right and wrong, truth and lies, and honesty and dishonesty. So if you already have color plans keep them... but over the summer lets all convert to BLACK and WHITE.

As for me I'm headed to San Antonio!

The Toxic Spending Bounty Act
For every Billion dollars cut in current spending below the level or the previous years budget , every member of the House and Senate who voted YEA and the President if signed and not vetoed shall be eligible for a bounty payment of one hundred thousand dollars. Any increases in spending during he remaining term will be reduced from the bounty payments. Any one who opts to receive a bounty payment will be band from public service lobbying or use of influence or money in any political process. Violations carry a life imprisonment and forfeiture of payments. Those who opt out of all bounty payments are not subject to any term limit legislation.
