I think right now it's a case of using the star power they can bring in and the ones they can keep. TNA started out with mostly former WWE stars as well as guys from ROH, you can't build it up from where it's at only using guys from the indie scene who have little to no experience. JJ knows what he is doing in terms of developing the roster, but considering what he currently has and what he has to fix, assuming that guys like ADR are going to make the same as 6 other people they just let go is just dumb. I think people need to give him and his crew time to get things worked out and untangle what Dixie did to that company. I doubt they will ever be at the level they once were in terms of being on par with ROH, but it is entirely possible with the right voices around him, he could get TNA close. But like I said, it will take TIME.
Good for her, and I don't think anybody is surprised. She was so excited to become a mother that you could tell she was going to give it her full attention. Good luck to her!
Smackdown should have been exclusive for the womens division while RAW has 205 Live
The biggest problem is, amazingly, Enzo and Cass don't wrestle enough I think. I'd love to see a break down of how many televised tag matches they have had since their debut, because I don't think there have been many, or at least it feels like there haven't been. I was actually disappointed with the women's match because it feels like we're going to just get more of the same when it comes to Bailey vs Charlotte
actually Enzo and Cass are drastically more popular and a much bigger draw than Reigns/Rollins.
this is the downside to the split roster...the short turnaround in Wrestlemania season after the royal rumble. no offense, but its the only reason there are three womens matches on the PPV
the one thing i will say about Rollins time as champ, he was constantly putting on quality match after quality match with mostly inferior talent. and then when vince started pushing hard on the whole "Roman Empire" we saw a repeat of CM Punk style booking up until Rollins got injured.Rollins was relegated to the second hour of raw and given 2nd tier opponents to feud with while they tried to build roman as a threat
the numbers are a bit skewed against him, but man does he have some bad luck
You have nothing to apologize for, and pardon the expression, but it takes some SERIOUS balls to write this article. Like has been said several times, if someone is a true fan of yours they aren't going to stop following you because of this article. Honestly, I feel like you may get more followers and friends out of this article. If you ask me, I say keep writing under the name Marissa from now on because that is who you are and you have no reason to apologize for it. If someone is your fan, they will continue to enjoy your writing and your views on the current product and if they don't want to keep reading, you are better off for it.
The sad thing is, Ziggler's work the past year or 2, he should really be in contention for the big belt, but because they were able to bring AJ in and because Cena comes back and is always thrust right into the title picture he gets shunted to the side. It's the whole backstage politics thing coming into play and its a shame because the dude can work a mic better than almost anybody in the WWE right now, he can put on a 5* match with almost anybody - look at the evolution of Baron Corbin from his debut till now - and he sells better than anybody since Rick Flair. Ziggler is the classic example of being both early and late to the same party because of the incredible talent he has working at the same time as him.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Dana split from Charlotte and have a 1-on-1 feud with Bayley. i think, given a decent amount of time, they might be able to put on some pretty decent matches. I'd also love to see them do it at the expense of Charlotte, just make he continue to get rid of "assistant after assistant" till she is literally on her own.
