I wonder why such a change in how this was handled this year as opposed to last year. Last year we really felt a part of the process, this year, not so much. It would have made a lot more sense to make the basement solid and secure from the elements than to leave two mis-matched useless chimney stacks perched on the roof. It would have made more sense to have done all of the groundwork to place a portion of the advertised land in conservance and left the actual decision as to how to do that to the bloggers voting or the winner. It would have made more sense to have windows on the second floor to view the water than to put an open-to-the-elements terrace on the front of the house. I rarely stop by or comment here anymore as there isn't much point to it. I have become quite disappointed with Blog cabin as it is operating this year.
