Defense is the only part of the budget that leftists are ever willing to cut. They frequently complain about how much money goes to the military, and act appalled at the amount of spending. That's the only time they give a tsetse fly's turd about how much money gets spent in Washington.
I saw the stage version of this show a few years ago. It's quite a good story, and really creepy. Hoping that Hollywood doesn't do what it so often does to its movies that are based on books or plays, and "tweak" it to the point that the original story is unrecognizable.

No, no. Free speech ONLY applies to the left and those who agree with them. When someone on the right says something, it's "hate speech." Only leftists can speak, you see, and if you openly disagree with what they're saying, you're "stifling" their freedom of speech.
It's bound to really twist leftists' drawers that the assassins of both Kennedy brothers and MLK weren't right-wingers. It must be really hard to stick to a template that says people on the right are crazy, hate-filled murderers when the right won't cooperate.

Wow, this is a switch. I remember when liberals lectured us on "compassion" for bullies. We were supposed to try to "understand" them. They made all kinds of excuses for them, and told us we were supposed to do it, too: they had an unhappy home life, they had low self-esteem, somebody hurt their feelings sometime in the past, etc., etc., etc. How times have changed. Well, not entirely, I guess; they're still doing that for criminals.
