Amazing that the company has any value at all. Just a board for people to post their dirty laundry, brag, or glorify themselves. Who needs it.? Oh yeah, all the vein people who need a life.

"This man was doing his job for the better of his country"

That's a really general statement being applied to a specific case here, and really makes no sense. By that same logic, all countries are serving their own purpose and everyone is in the right. Therefore, there is never anyhing wrong in the wolrd. So mass genocides happening in Africa are OK, because the people committing those crimes were working for their governments and trying to make things better in their countries.

I'm just not buying into the purist / noob view of the world.

Seriously! Her proposal is to "buy" jobs. And when the money runs out, the jobs go away, and all we are left with is another big tax bill. Idiot. How about a new focus on creating real jobs that aren't paid for by state taxes. Jobs that don't go away with the state runs into more red ink next year.

I agree - no help from the banks. I tried to refi with Citibank, who already has my current mortgage, and didn't qualify. So apparently I'm qualified for them to charge me a higher rate, but not a new lower rate. Really... WTF ?

HOW CAN THIS BE!?!? The Dems ALWAYS run on the platform "kids first" and have been in control of the State for many years. This must be some sort of mistake.! Gasp!

And really? 2018 ? Let's not rush into this and actually solve the problem in the near future. Sheez!

But seriously now, WA State government needs to grow a pair and just implement a state income tax and get rid of the broken sales tax model. That gives the state a vested interest in seeing real job grown here so they can pay for the infrastructure we need. None of this tax-the-rich-class-warfare nonsense. A flat % tax is the most fair thing that the state could do and would fix this budget problem ASAP. The other thing that WA residents need to insist on is a balanced budget law - if they state legislature does not have a balanced budget a the end of fiscal year, then the are not eligible for re-election. That will fix a lot of thing real fast.

You do understand that there is a huge difference between a percentage and a fixed amount, right...? Percentages are pretty fair since they are a sliding scale no matter what your income.

It's not a question of "allowing" competition, it's happening. And those market forces driving wages down are not people in the board rooms saying "I need more money for my condo in Maui", they are they are the ties to other countries that aren't paying anywhere near the wages developed countries pay because they don't have the same infrastructure to support. So the workers in China making $1 / hr vs. the people making $40/hr in the USA. And companies - if they want to stay in business at all - have to cut costs or close the doors. It's the major trade disparity that is killing us and all the other developed countries. How are the mobs in the streets who are getting mad at corporate America going to deal with that? By demanding the government borrow more money and create artificial jobs. That's just not a sustainable model. I'm afraid that this is the beginning of a long painful equalization process until Chinese wages come up and US wages drop to comparable.

Please define who, and why they are "accountable", and for what exactly? Seems that everyone in this country is free to go out and make their own fortunes. Nobody owes these people a job. A job is not a "right". Corporations are usually formed around selling products that people want, not because they owe people jobs. If they work hard and make money and are prosperous, well isn't that the American dream we tell everyone to follow? Are you now punishing them for being successful?

They had previously show photos of protesters with signs saying "Marx was right".

The whole movement looks to be rebels without a clue. No central message other than "we hate capitolism", which probably won't get to far in this country.
