A couple weeks ago at dinner a step relative of mine said "when you'll be 20, you'll forget all about my little pony." I didn't respond, but I did think "you just watch me."
I don't like the stereotype given to Bronies, either. My stepdad said that after being around a Brony or two in a non-pony forum, he said that to him that they were like "a creepy pedophile who sits on the park bench and waves at you." I was mortified by this (but I didn't show it) becuase all I could think was "you don't know. You really just don't know that they're nice, fun people who actually try to make a difference in the world, by holding charities and caring about each other." It irritates me how things like "friendship" and being honest with people and caring and niceness is only thought to be limited to girls.
