I approve of Nintendo's dedication to total historical accuracy! I mean is anybody honestly going to tell me that Abraham Lincoln didn't pilot a giant steam powered mecha of himself? There is no evidence that he didn't! Ergo, total historical accuracy!

Well I guess the only good/bad (whatever floats your boat) thing about this is that people can finally give up on the false hope that the Last Gaurdian will show up next E3. I was always amazed how much blind faith people had that this game would be released much less be decent after years of vague promises from Sony.

I'm not sure how it works on the New Nintendo 3DS but in the older 3DS models the preinstalled games do transfer from system to system. The games themselves on the older models were rarely preinstalled as much as the special 3DS came with a code that gave you the digital version of a game.

Especially if Nintendo is going to go with accounts with their future systems something like that would be very convenient. However it would be cool if the new rewards program includes physical as well. I wonder if physical rewards will not be included in whatever the new rewards program will be, which if it happens is a shame. Sometimes I wish Nintendo would make a straight online store that is global where one could buy Nintendo swag beyond just the games and hardware. I would like to get posters and other cool things from Nintendo.

I really liked Digital Deluxe since I noticed I bought often for the sake of buying Virtual Console games just so I could get that extra bonus. It was a powerful incentive to get as much stuff as possible.

I suppose this isn't a surprise since we've seen signs of Club Nintendo declining like the rewards being not so great in recent years. The program while cool seems to no longer be worth it in its current form not to mention that not as many people are buying Nintendo products at the moment.

I hope whatever the replacement is for Club Nintendo, will be more geographically accessible than what Club Nintendo was. I mean Scandinavia had Club Nintendo but it was discontinued a long, long time ago since it proved not to be really worth it. As a result I've never had the benefit of a Club Nintendo which bums me out.

Is the new rewards program going to be digital I wonder? Something like the (now also defunct) Nintendo Network Premium, maybe?

I'm in Europe so I guess it was a little bit easier to get than in the states were it was preordered in something like 13 minutes from what I hear!

Oh, I remember content claim armageddon! It caused quite a mess. People leaving Youtube for Twitch, cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!

The only thing I can't remember is when it took place. Was it in late 2013 or early 2014? It is funny how I can remember the details of the event but not the date. I do remember that Amazon bought Twitch in mid 2014 which happened after the content claim nightmare since one of the rumors was that Google would buy Twitch and people were scared that they would muck it up like Youtube. So that would make the content claim armageddon take place in 2013?

Only slightly related but I did manage to snag a pre order of the Majora's Mask special edition NN3DS! And that thing was almost preordered out even from where I'm from, at least every online store I checked. So...proof that it is going to fail? That is how Nintendoomed works right? Nintendo makes a profit and they are going to die the next day, it's like poison or something for them...
