I am disgusted at the mere mention of Parliament trashing a democratic vote by the electorate to leave the EU. Who do these people think they are? It is very dangerous to meddle with the democratic process and if an attempt is made by our elected representatives, there will be very serious repercussions for them at the ballot box and in the country at large. Accept the democratic will of the majority and forget this dangerous flirtation with undemocratic means. Respect democracy.
westcoast55: Europe is indeed in crisis or should I say the EU is in crisis, therefore that means Europe. Greece is about to exit the Euro and will be quickly followed by Spain and Portugal, which will bring down the curtain on the EU.I made the point of having a referendum because we in UKIP, as opposed to the mainstream parties, believe in democracy ~ Ed Milliband won't even entertain a referendum, Dave promises pie in the sky and as for Cleggers, well, dear old Cleggers. Watch the leaders' debate tonight and prepare to be amazed by the rubbish that will issue from the mouths of Ed, Dave and Cleggers.
This item appears balanced and actually seems free from bias, which is refreshing in an age where the press are heavily biased against any view that goes against the established political parties. Because of past numerous administrations' ineptitude and toothless subservience to the Establishment in this country, Britain is on a steep decline, which is evident in everyday life. UKIP has arrived, giving hope to many disenfranchised voters, such as myself, who always blindly voted Labour ~ never again. People are at last waking up to the disaster that is unfurling in this country. Indeed, the whole of Europe is in crisis because of the undemocratic monstrosity that is the EU. But all is not yet lost, because the EU is about to collapse and not before time. The initial fissure will be Greece defaulting on its debt, which will lead to them leaving the Euro. From then on the whole out of date edifice of the EU will crumble. It is inevitable that we in Britain are going to have a referendum on the EU, whether this year or next, it is coming and the result will be our exit. The main party leaders' continuing support for our membership only hardens resolve to be rid of our attachment to this stangulation of democracy.
I believe if any political grouping will suffer recriminations and internal strife post General Election, it will be the LibLabCon. Time and again they prove themselves bereft of principle, honour, democracy, belief, or any sign of allegiance to this country or its people. UKIP, however, in its leader, Nigel Farage, have all of those qualities and actually believe in this country making its own laws, trading with the world and bringing some common sense back to everyday life. I don't agree with everything the party espouses, but compared to the LibLabCon, UKIP is a breath of fresh air. Nigel Farage makes Ed, Dave and Cleggers look like college kids ~ which of course, they are.
I'm sorry, I am laughing so much that I just can't take the LibLabConners seriously. So they are in control of our borders, are they?
The LibLabCon are running scared of UKIP, especially Cameron, who has had his way. Now he will hide amongst the multitude of parties in a leaders debate that will be cumbersome and difficult to moderate. You can run, but you can't hide ~ Nigel's coming to get you!
It's OK, no bother. Mark Reckless will receive plenty of financial help from public donations because ordinary people are waking up to the fact that the Westminster elite are playing a dirty game. What comes round, goes round.
Well, Labour are whiter than white, aren't they. Incidentally, they have parachuted son of Kinnock into Aberavon. Seeing as he is married to the Danish prime minister, I wonder if they will set up home in 'sunny' Port Talbot. Pin a Labour rosette to a donkey and people in Wales will vote for it. I am Welsh, so I know what I am talking about. Incidentally, I am 60 years of age and always voted Labour ~ not any more ~ UKIP all the way!
