I think that's a big key when I think about mentoring in the church, relational investment. The business world has taken the word and made it into some sort of achievement focused thing, whereas I think God calls us to share life.

A great friend of mine said that to me in the context of finding a mentor. I thought it related in helping us move beyond the grip of comparison.
