In one of those great 1960s-era egg-shaped elevator pods that go to the top of the St. Louis Arch. It wasn't full-blown sex sex, but "heavy petting" as they say. Heavy, heavy, heavy petting. The ride is only a couple of minutes, but it's amazing what you can accomplish in that short time when you're determined to.

The tricky part for us guys is doing these things at just the right moment. You have to time it right or it's a waste. It's like putting a dollar in a tip jar!

I once was at a Mexican restaurant a few days after Thanksgiving and had my worst experience. My "chicken" burrito was actually stuffed with leftover turkey, and I saw the waiter refill my drink by scooping up a handful of ice and dropping it in my cup. I tried to pay with a credit card and the waiter then told me that they only accepted cash, but that wasn't mentioned anywhere in the restaurant. I told him that I didn't have any cash, and that the meal was shit, and that he could accept a credit card or else I was leaving. He got angry, which made me angry, and I walked out, expecting he would follow me, but he didn't. I never went back.

They don't know it yet, but somewhere, someone is preparing to be featured on a "Deep Frying Turkey FAILS" compilation video. Fire stations everywhere are probably on high alert.

Most of them basically look like a map Europe, circa 1254 or so.

Under my totalitarian dictatorship, you will not be allowed to root for a university team unless you attended it and graduated from the school. With a minimum 3.0 average.

I recently learned that Daddy Longlegs are NOT spiders. Yes, they are arachnids, but they aren't spiders. They're harvestmen, whatever that is.

No promises that this will work, but if you can put the scent of people around your yard, they might avoid it as long as they haven't become too brash and bold. One thing that people do to keep deer away is they go to a haircutting place like Great Clips and ask them to save a day's worth of hair clippings. Then they spread them around the perimeter of their yard. Maybe it's worth a shot?

It's a great great song and shamefully under-praised in mainstream music at least. Maybe it's the length or the subject matter. But those repeating and repeating and repeating guitar and bass riffs are mesmerizing. And Bruce's part is beautiful.
