Alex S is ALRIGHT, that is actually the first brony musician i ever became familiar with. But i am not large on electronic music as previously stated and don't find the thousands of low production value songs very appealing, or even the higher quality ones for that matter. I am fine with others enjoying it, more power to them, but i will never take interest in most of it. I keep an open mind in music and probably listen to more types and bands than i gurantee 99% of bronies, pony music just doesnt appeal to me, tried it, multiple times, still dont like it. that is just my opinion.
And i don't find him very high quality, iv'e tried to, i really have. I'm not much for electronic music in general but i can recognize quality and professionalism in it still, and brony music just doesn't do it for me, even non electronic stuff. I'm not trying to be mean or discouraging, but i could care less for the most part about pony music.
i know all those artists and i'm not saying there aren't people who can make quality music, but even some of those (IMO) sound like something to expect from a garage band or a 14 year old with his iPad. I got nothing wrong with pony musicians and i even have a very tiny amount of pony songs on my phone that get semi regular play, but hey, i cannot do any better and everyone is entitled to their opinions, music in this fandom is a cool aspect, just not really for me.
gotta say for the most part i agree with you, i'v'e listened to a few songs that were alright, but quite frankly the production value of MOST fan music is pretty low, not saying i can do better but it seems a lot of people just make a half ass song and slap a pony label on it hoping for some popularity
And of cours applejack is the one to be cut :/
