Hannah, are you saying most of the posts on this blog are pretentious (Attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed.)? If so, I think that is the nature of most top 10 lists that are quantifiable. And since many of these lists are subjective that is bound to happen from time to time. As always I invite our readers to write their own list for submission. You can make it as down to earth as you like. Thanks for reading and congratulations on your first comment. We don't copy listverse. I don't look at listverse. This was emailed to me from person at the BBC and he asked us to post it. If there is something similar then blame the BBC for submitting it to multiple sites. We don't copy other sites.
This was not made for listverse. It was sent to us as well as listverse. It would appear that listverse was duped as were we. I\'ll be happy to post the email if proof is needed. The person who submitted this list to Toptenz was Arj Singh from the BBC on Sept. 17. We, like listverse, had no idea it was submitted to multiple sites.
But thanks for assuming the worst of Toptenz.
