I agree with you--it should be a free choice. If someone is too stubborn to wear a helmet when riding, a s s uming they know the risks, then it's "buy the ticket, take the ride, no sympathy for the devil".

You're right, it is senseless. Yes, my original comment was harsh, but I'm fed up with almost being hit by EVERY snowmobiler I encounter. I know that not everyone is irresponsible, but I have yet to meet someone who acts sensibly on one of these machines. Maybe this was just an accident. However, there is definitely an attitude of impudence prevalent amongst most riders I've seen. But you are right, I shouldn't wish ill will upon anyone--it is just difficult for me to feel sorry for the types who put themselves in harm's way (and by the way, riding on uncertain terrain at night *is* very dangerous).
Carlos, you must have a lot of time on your hands if all you do is post inane comments on KCRG. You are so misinformed, I feel sorry for you. I've read a lot of your comments and surmise that your general train of thought is relative to those who thought the world was flat.
