Scott, I am psyched that someone is finally experiencing the third console. For the record, MGS4 is a full 50 gig multi-layered blu-ray disc, so, there is really no way they can load the enire game to the hard drive. Apparently, there are so many textures and assets that they have to do periodic loads.

This is not typical, however, in my experience with other PS3 games.

CHECK OUT PIXELJUNK EDEN!!! IT IS WORTH THE $10.

Great cast guys, and thanks for addressing the lopsided coverage. If Nintendo would put out some more big titles for gamers, we wouldn't have the need to discuss the 360 or PS3.

Because of your awesomeness, a rant will not be necessary this week.

if you are referring to the piece of "workout equipment" that is a huge strap around your waist attached to a machine that vibrates violently, then I share your shock.

Wii Fit should have been one of those machines with a slot for a WiiMote.

In response to the 2 SKU idea, I agree that the idea itself is not a good one. Nintendo has put themself in a pickle because they now have to address the casual gamer with every game on Wii.

What they would almost need to do is release a "Third pillar" console for the hardcore, leaving the Wii for casual. That is the only way I can see it working out for them.

Ian, don't be so hard on yourself. your podcast has some of the best audio quality I hear on a regular basis, and that is not even taking into account that this is a fan podcast.

You guys do a great job with quality and I have noticed your progress towards increasing the quality. Its a big difference between the revolution report and now.

I am a Nintendo fanboy, but I must admit they have been pretty arrogant this time around. especially lately. I mean, I never would've expected it, but I already traded in Mario Kart because the game was so watered down. I love Wii Fit, but, lets face it, for 90 bucks they couldve included more depth.

I feel like they know they just need to put a product out there and it will sell, so they don't put major time, money, or passion behind a lot of the big titles lately.

I agree, my comments were purely a critique of our beloved podcasters' lop-sided opinions. They are dead-on with Nintendo. I am just getting tired of Sony-bashing out of people who haven't played one or have some allegiance to Microsoft for some reason. If you don't like PS3 out of experience, your complaints are valid. Otherwise its fanboy trash talk.
